This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our indoor classroom Kinder garden will allow my students to tap into a year long steam learning experience that targets life science and earth science all in one. One of my goals as an educator is to plant the seed of a life long interest in growing and harvesting your own produce all while learning to enjoy the fruits of your labor. With this donation, my kindergarteners will get the privilege to learn an innovated newer age way of gardening and gain an appreciation for hydroponic gardening. Students will have the ability to taste test their own produce and experience a plant life cycle from beginning to end.
