My students are given times during the school day to engage in preferred educational activities also known as free choice. They enjoy the idea of deciding on their own what learning materials to engage in. At this age, preschoolers enjoy exploring materials on the floor, its convenient and mostly preferred. By adding rugs to our classroom, my students will have the ability to engage in learning materials on comfortable, clean, cozy carpets, thus making their learning experiences much more pleasurable. In addition, these carpets will help define our learning centers and make it easier for the students to identify the classroom domains.

About my class
