This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my school have a love for soccer. During physical education class we often play outside and use cones as goals.

We are now participating in our school gym and would be absolutely blown away if they have the opportunity to play soccer with real nets.

Last year we made our own soccer goals with broken hula hoops and jump ropes as part of the net. It was actually a pretty cool moment watching my students working together to create these goals. The only bad part of the lesson, that every goal that was scored would take a very long time to resemble these goals.
