Indoor Recess Toys

Help me give my students toys for indoor recess. These toys help engage students when the weather stops them from playing outside.

My Project

Using toys for inside recess keeps students engaged while promoting physical and cognitive development and social interaction. These items will make a difference in the classroom by offering students a choice in how they spend their inside recess.

Recess gives students a much needed "brain break" from academic rigor.

However, South Dakota weather can be unpredictable and often stops students from spending recess outdoors.

Students are shown to have better attention, focus, and overall engagement in academics after being given a recess break. Recess is a time for everyone to recharge and return to learning as the best version of themself.
