This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work at a year round school in Arizona. We are expecting high temperatures for the next 2 months. My students are in need of indoor games and activities to stay engaged during recess and lunch recess. I am requesting board games, card games, STEM building materials, and drawing lap boards for all the 4th grade students to use during indoor recess and lunch recess.

Students that are engaged and entertained are less likely to engage in negative behaviors.

We want students to have a fun time even if they are being asked to stay indoors and out of the heat.
