Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These games and toys will be used for indoor recess days on rainy and cold days where the students need to stay inside. The second grade students love games with a partner or small group. This will help build their language skills, cooperation, and social skills with others. Battleship, candy land, Connect 4, tic tac toe, Trouble, and Guess Who are all wonderful games to let them play and have fun with their classmates.

They also love open ended materials to build and create with magnetic tiles and Clixo flexible building tools where they can create many different things.

The student will appreciate these items on days where they can’t be active outside.
