Indoor Recess Fun

My students need activities to keep them moving during indoor recess. This includes a golf set, a bowling set, activity mats and other items.

My Students

I teach second grade at a school where students thrive on the success of each other, creating a loving environment for their classmates. Every morning, my students come to class with an eagerness to learn. They are a group of 19 amazing students, who work hard to come out on top with their learning.

My students encourage each other to be the best they can be and to create a loving community throughout the classroom.

They support each other in their learning and work hard to become great lifelong learners.

My Project

Living in Colorado, it's hard to say what our weather will be day to day. One of the things my students dread the most is indoor recess. Not only does it take away from being outside, but it's hard to get students active when we are stuck inside due to bad weather. With this said, our class needs activity mats, foam ring toss, mini golf sets, mini bowling set, and a swing & catch ball set.

By having this active play equipment, our class will be able to have fun and get moving during indoor recess.

These fun filled activities will encourage teamwork and even support hand/eye coordination. All these activities are soft and safe in order to be used in the classroom during indoor recess.
