Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students hail from a diverse background and has a wealth of knowledge to share with each other. They come to school every day ready to learn and engage in a rigorous curriculum. My students are energetic, fun loving, and creative. They are curious and critical thinker who ask the tough questions and ready to provide analysis of topics that are thought provoking.

The materials in my project will give my students an alternative to using only technology for play during inclement weather months when recess is not feasible outdoors.

The Outburts game, the Mancala, and Jenga are a few of the games that will promote interaction and interactive play. These games will advanced their critical thinking skills while providing an opportunity for them to play and enjoy being middle-schoolers.
