This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I LOVE rainy days. There is nothing better than the look and smell of a forest after a downfall... except maybe that glorious sound! You know what I don't love? I don't love when rainy days mean that my students need to have indoor recess. Indoor recess can be rough on first graders. We usually have scrap paper and old markers to keep them occupied. I think we can do better.
These games and activities will allow the students to unleash their creativity or play a fun game during indoor recess.
The digital drawing pads are reusable (Gotta save the planet!) and the clay will never dry out (Gotta save the recess aids' sanity!). The popular game is actually covert addition strategy practice, and the magnetic blocks will be a great addition to STEM constructions.
Thanks for making drizzly days a bit less dreary for my students!
