Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is one of a handful of Little Free Library locations in our community that provide free books that our students can take and own.

Our students love reading so much that we need a second Little Free Library!

This second location will be inside the school so that students that arrive on or take the bus home can get a book from the requested rotating book stand without worrying about missing their bus. The assorted bookmarks will be placed inside each book in both locations, inside and outside of school. The label sheets will be used to print out labels for the books that we give out.

My special education students also gain valuable life skills by restocking and labeling them. Help us keep spreading the power of literacy in our community!
