Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My incoming third graders love to learn, create art, solve problems and to communicate. Although my students speak many different home languages and have different academic abilities, our goal is to learn and work together as a family.

I would like to start each scholar with brand new individual white board erasers, thin markers that my students can use on laminated learning materials, and sturdy school to home work and communication folders.

In addition, I have asked for mailing labels which I use to print off word problems and other typed information that is then stuck into their individual journals.

Having these materials before the school year starts will allow my students to feel welcome and successful from the first day of school. Thank you for your consideration.
