Our preschool program serves children ages 3 to 5 from predominantly low-income families that qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. The families come from a wide variety of cultures. Many of the children come to our preschool for their first educational experience. Engaging children keeps them busy and happy.
My Project
We started off the school year in distance learning. Upon returning to class the students will need their own individual storage containers and materials. When we return to school, I want to make sure that the children have their own independent school supplies.
Individual storage containers will promote safety, organization, and independence.
The children will have their own art and sensory supplies to be successful and busy. Markers, crayons, scissors, paper, and play dough are the essential materials in a classroom.
I would like to make the return to school as smooth and safe as possible. The children have not returned to in person class due to the pandemic. Once we return to school our goal is to keep everyone safe, busy and engaged.
