This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many students find it hard to express themselves in class or find the means to get their creative ideas out the first time they're given a project.
Sketchbooks provide students with a way to brainstorm, draw messy, and just get out their creative ideas in their own personal space before having to work on larger projects.
This can build confidence and provide a place for my students and I to work together to translate their ideas onto paper.
These books will give students their own outlet safe from judgement where they can grow as artists!
