Individual Hands-On Sensory Bins for Little Learners
Help me give my students hands on learning supplies to create sensory bins for individual use during our current pandemic. These bins can be used in school or delivered to students choosing distance learning.
I am so excited to begin my first year as a Pre-K 4 teacher for 20 little learners this year! My school is in an urban school district on a university campus. Students come from diverse backgrounds and are ready to play and learn. All students receive free breakfast and lunch daily. These students may or may not have been in school before and need to feel the safety and develop the love of learning school offers now.
My Project
Sensory materials are essential to building schema, build literacy and math skills and allow for creative play.
Little learners need lots of hands-on materials to learn and grow.
Play is child's learning and creating individual sensory bins for my students will help them to practice fine motor skills, sorting skills, counting skills, letter identification and much more.
These materials will allow my students to learn and grow both in the classroom or at home. I can not wait to go back to the classroom and help these little learners grow. Thank you for helping me make a difference in my students' lives.
