My Project

I have the pleasure to teach 18 of the sweetest 4 and 5-year-old pre-kindergarten students. The students qualify for the program due to special needs, academic challenges, and family financial distress. Our school is a Title I school on the outskirts of Charlotte, NC.

Several of my students have special learning needs, and all have financial challenges making ends meet at home.

They all come to school ready to learn and love every minute of it. Independent learning is essential for giving students a sense of accomplishment and helps to build confidence. Your donation will help to purchase materials which will close the gap that many young children have when entering kindergarten.
