My group of 22 kindergartners consists of diverse learners. My students are a part of a general education classroom. As a general education classroom teacher, I am differentiating the needs of every student. As I plan, I group by learning style, not ability, encourage active learning, and embrace small group activities. The diversity in my classroom is welcomed and embraced!
Flexible seating will help young minds stay more alert and focused.
I use wobble chairs, fidgets, and more. An addition to my existing supplies I would love to have these adaptive seats for rug and WhisperPhones to support during small groups! These will help my students work independently without distraction and sit safely with the group.
