Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students with disabilities are enrolled in Independent Studies. Attending virtual classes makes it difficult to stay engaged. Offering each student a kit with basic school supplies will help them to be more successful and stay engaged in the class.
My students are working hard to learn independent skills for life after high school.
Some of the things my students are learning are language arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, U.S. History, Fine Motor Skills, Gross Motor Skills, Dance/Fitness, Nutrition/Cooking, Functional Living Skills, Daily Living Skills.
Many of my students are from low income households and will benefit from your contributions.
