Help me give my students journals and learning activities they can use for their independent learning time to better their education.

My Students

Each one of my students are thoughtful, passionate and curious. They thrive on hands-on experiences and learn best when given games or learning tubs. My students come to school each day with a want to better themselves and their community!

My school is currently an improvement school in Spokane, Washington.

Each student in my school receives free breakfast and lunch because of the poverty that surrounds my students' everyday lives!

Each child that comes to my classroom loves to learn, although all of them come from culturally different backgrounds. They come each day wanting to be a better student. Due to Covid-19 and learning online, my students have lacked the ability to use hands-on activities and games that relate to their specific learning type.

My Project

These journals will help my students during independent work time. The journals will allow students to visualize the writing process, practice sentence structures, and have daily writing prompts. The transition from 2nd grade to 3rd grade is demanding with the regards to writing and reading.

My students need more paper-pencil activities to further their education.

With the academic demands of 3rd grade, my students deserve many activities to help them further their learning. My students thrive with routines and structures, and these journals will easily be implemented to fit in to our existing routines.
