Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Reading is a very essential skill students should be able to master by the end of 2nd grade. I heavily rely on centers as part of a daily schedule to provide students with independent learning time lead by their own motivation. Many homemade centers I have attempted to make do not last as long as the ones I have listed here. I hope that these activities will engage students with their independent learning and support their reading skills.
I also listed many basic school supplies that constantly need restocking, such as pencils, erasers, coloring materials, tissue, disinfecting wipes, and markers.
My classroom is on rations as we head towards the end of the year when it comes to this supplies. I also listed some pillows to allow some flexible seating while they are completing their independent work. You contribution would mean so much to my students and myself. We need our community to come to together and make sure students have the most opportunities as possible. Thank you so much for considering our classroom.
