Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our classroom is all about teamwork, building up character, celebrating, and including all kinds of learners and what they need.
Our school is wonderful and very supportive of doing whatever is best for students.
My students are very sweet and driven to be successful. School can be a challenge when you are below grade level, but students are easily motivated my encouragement and interesting topics. STEM is a great way to make school more interesting and expose kids to more variety of areas of interest.
My Project
Students will be encouraged with the use of other creative apps to help them better understand our classroom content.
Students love technology and are motivated to unleash their creativity.
There are lots of ways to build and be more hands on to help students really understand the content as well as give them opportunities to take brain breaks from everything we are learning.
Osmo Genius Kit for iPad is a great tool to expand the use of the iPad. iPad can also be used with app. To teach students about animation. Technology is very encouraging to students and motivating as well as fun for engagement and learnin.
ThinkFun Gravity Maze Marble Run Logic Game and STEM Toy for Boys and Girls Is something I will use as a center simply for exploration.
LEGO Classic Medium Creative Brick Box have SO many uses. You can us these as fractions, showing arrays, listening and speaking to build something a partner describes, they can a.so follow instructions by building as well as building things related to our current content and topics.
VIAHART Brain Flakes 500 Piece Interlocking Plastic Disc Set Is something I will use as a center simply for exploration for students. There will be general ideas to try to build with their pieces.
