This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
There is never a dull moment in my STEM Elective classes or after school clubs! My students are super creative and deserve to have top-notch tools to match their talents.
My students beautifully reflect the city where I live.
They represent diverse cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds. Most of my students speak more than one language and come from homes where English is not the primary spoken language. My math and STEM students are middle school students with a wide range of abilities.
My Project
I am requesting ink for a color printer I received last year through a Chevron Fuel Your School Grant on Donors Choose. My students have access to the printer and the scanner in the classroom and are always completing projects which require them to display eye-catching work.
My robotics club is currently working on an Engineering and Design Notebook for an upcoming competition and needs ink to make the notebook as impressive as possible.
Many of my students do not have access to computers or printers at home.
These students like to use my classroom computers for projects and homework. The ink I am requesting for our classroom scanner and printer will empower my students to unleash their creativity.
