Increasing Differentiation & Motivation with Nearpod

My Students

The school I teach at is full of diversity in a small rural town in North Carolina.

I teach 4th-grade math & science and I will have a variety of learners in my classroom this year from all different backgrounds.

I am so excited for the school year to begin. I am hopeful to get supplies and materials we need for our classroom to make school feel like a place that my students are thrilled to come to each and every day.

My Project

Nearpod is an incredible digital tool that gives a new upgraded spin on Google Slides and Microsoft Powerpoint. It allows students to be a part of the lesson and participate and collaborate. Students get to follow along with the lessons on their computer and participate actively.

Nearpod will allow me to facilitate learning as a coach and will give every single student in my class the opportunity to participate actively in their own learning.

It will help me receive instant feedback on student's mastery of a topic and I will be able to use this information for small group targeted instruction.

With a platinum membership my students will be able to independently access targeted Nearpod lessons for their individual needs.
