My Project

At my wonderful school, we strive to create an enriched learning environment for all students. Occasionally, limited funding makes it difficult to create the environment we desire. We are in need of a sensory space. A sensory space is a special place designed to develop a person's senses, usually through special lighting, music, and comfort. These spaces are invaluable for individuals with sensory processing sensitivities, aiding in self-regulation and improving overall behavior and well-being.

When a child is regulated, there can only be positive outcomes.

Learning outside of the classroom is proven to have a positive effect on students' engagement.

Finding ways to enhance our students' educational experience is always our top priority. With your help we can bring this dream to life for our students! We are requesting materials like wall padding, kid-friendly couches, flexible seating, a sensory mood discovery table, sensory lighting materials, and other sensory friendly tools to create this welcoming space.
