This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students in my class may be in a Title I school but they come ready to learn every day despite their circumstances. We tell our students that there is no limit to what they can accomplish.

My students are just beginning and they understand that learning is a life-long journey.

This class is full of diverse individuals who work together as a team. We try, we explore, we play, we grow, we solve problems, we discuss our world, numbers, letters, nature, words, and books.

My Project

These books and resources will help my learners make connections with what they are learning and feel valued in my classroom. We are covering an array of topics during our school year but one theme that will be carried on throughout the year - learning is fun for everyone!

No two learners are alike.

I want to give my students the materials necessary to find what they like and love about school as well as themselves!

Foundational skills are so important but often taken for granted, my learners appreciate all they learn. From vocabulary picture cards to making patterns, stickers for art, and scissors for play dough, they will build skills necessary to be lifelong learners in all fields.
