This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My TK students are full of curiosity and excitement as they begin their educational journey. By providing diverse books and sign language posters, I can create a classroom environment that is welcoming to all students, no matter their background. These resources will help them explore different cultures, perspectives, and communication methods, allowing them to connect with the world around them in meaningful ways.
The goal of this project is to promote inclusion and empathy among my students.
The diverse books will expose them to stories of different experiences, while the sign language posters will support early communication skills. Both resources will help foster understanding, respect, and awareness of others’ needs, encouraging my students to embrace diversity from an early age.
What makes my students special is their eagerness to learn and their openness to new ideas. With these materials, I can create a classroom where every student feels valued and empowered to express themselves.
