Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These books will give students strategies for interacting with others who are different, teach students about the power of kindness, and empower them to be problem solvers. My students absolutely loved this book and easily made connections to the text as it takes place in our home state. Each student felt a connection with the characters in the novel.
Big Boggle will be utilized during intervention time for English language learners.
This game will enhance knowledge and build their skills in spelling and vocabulary. Mountain Goats is an engaging teaching tool I plan to use for math small groups. This game will assist students who need support with counting numbers and skip counting.
The tall table will be used for flexible seating. This table will increase student engagement and help students with ADHD focus during instruction.
