My Project

I’m reaching out with a special request to help bring greater inclusivity and creativity to my classroom. As a high school teacher, I strive to make every student feel seen, valued, and represented. One simple but powerful way to do that is by providing art supplies that reflect the diverse skin tones of the students I teach.

That’s why I’m hoping to fund a set of skin tone colored markers for my classroom.

These markers will allow students to create self-portraits and other projects that more accurately reflect their identities and the beautiful diversity of our world. It’s a small change that can have a big impact on self-expression and confidence.

Your support would mean so much—not just to me, but to every student who gets the chance to see themselves more clearly in the work they create. Every donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to a more inclusive and empowering classroom experience!
