My Project
Our physical education classes are filled with determined, enthusiastic, and resilient students. Among them are several who face temporary or long-term injuries that limit their ability to participate in traditional physical activities. Despite their challenges, these students consistently show a desire to remain active, stay engaged with their peers, and compete in a supportive environment.
We are requesting two air resistance bikes to make our PE program more inclusive.
These bikes are uniquely designed to accommodate a wide range of physical abilities. With the option to use the handlebars, pedals, or both at the same time, they allow students to engage in either upper body or lower body workouts—or both—depending on their capabilities and recovery needs.
This dual functionality is especially valuable for students recovering from leg injuries, who can still maintain cardiovascular fitness and upper-body strength, and for those with arm injuries, who can continue to engage their lower bodies. Even students without injuries will benefit from these bikes for warm-ups, endurance training, and friendly competitions.
Every student deserves the opportunity to participate in physical education and feel the joy of movement, achievement, and camaraderie. These air bikes will help ensure that no student is sidelined due to injury. They’ll have a safe, effective way to remain part of the class, continue progressing in fitness, and even challenge classmates in timed or distance-based competitions.
With your support, we can create a more adaptive and empowering environment where all students feel included and capable—regardless of their physical limitations.
