My Project

The items I chose bring inclusion into the class. Often students do not feel seen or represented. Providing books like Sulwe, puzzles like the one of Africa and ASL posters is important. They all are connected to the students I educate. Stories, activities, and picture representation can mean a lot to students. They will feel seen, be engaged, and learn about others outside of their own communities.

I will teach with purpose at all times!

My purpose is reaching kids beyond the given curriculum to their own backgrounds and experiences. Which I definitely feel is represented through the items I chose.
