Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our day starts with our usual journal entry, "How can I make my day better today?" At the end of the school year, I have a goal of having my students have self-confidence. Feeling great is one way to start.
I have amazing students that sometimes experience the best they can experience through their school day hours.
Poverty is a big key in our fight to achieve the learning goal. Help my students achieve this by having the best they can in their classroom.
My Project
All of our students have different needs and special talents. Many inclusion classrooms should have flexible seating to help students cooperate with each other. This is a must with the variety of group work we do in our classroom. It is hard to accommodate students' seating arrangements when there is movement and excitement around the room while working in their groups.
Having several tables also helps with having centers ready to go for students to use.
Healthy snacks is great to have to motivate students to follow instructions and stay on track while concentrating. We will be ready to learn and succeed.
