I am a special education teacher that is working diligently to assure that all of my students receiving special education services is not isolated in a special education setting the entire day. Moving toward a more inclusive environment where all students are a part of the school community and has a sense of belonging is fast becoming school-wide goals. But before students can succeed in a regular setting, special education teachers and regular education teachers must make necessary accommodations in order to assure students' success in the regular classroom. One way to do this is to create communication tools necessary for specific students to succeed. In order to make these necessary communication boards, I must have a color printer. Having this necessary equipment would better support my students in moving toward a more inclusive environment for my students. Please help me in this endeavor in making sure all students have the necessary tools to succeed in their school environment.
