Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The Skylight Calendar will bring essential structure, independence, and accountability to our classroom of Title I students with disabilities included in a general education setting. By displaying visual task charts, Skylight will help students manage their routines, know what to expect, and build confidence in navigating their day. For many of our learners, visual schedules are a vital support that builds independence and reduces anxiety—helping them stay focused and successful throughout the day.
This tool will also support teachers in delivering high-quality, inclusive instruction.
Skylight will allow us to track inclusion minutes, schedule IEP service times, log observations, and organize follow-up tasks—all in one visible, easy-to-manage space. In a classroom with a wide range of needs, this kind of organization helps ensure every student receives the services and support they deserve. Please consider donating to our project—your generosity will directly enhance the learning experience for students who need it most.
