My Project

I have the privledge of teaching instrumental music at three elementary schools in my school district: two bands and one orchestra program. Over the past few years, the programs are really growing. One area of need is our percussion section! We have equipment that is broken and needs to be replaced. In some cases, we do not have enough of auxiliary equipment to include all percussionist on a specific part.

It is so important to engage all the learners in the music ensemble!

Having enough percussion equipment (triangle, cowbell, drum mallet) is really important. So is having equipment that functions properly so that students can learn to play them accurately.

It is my job as an elementary instrumental music teacher to set the beginning band and orchestra students up for success, teaching them the correct foundations of music so that they can have a bright future in music.

Thank you for supporting my classroom. Lives are being enriched and changed in a positive way every day! Music is the best subject to teach (in my opinion) :)
