My Project
I plan to use these materials to implement a gamification-based learning experience in my high school English class. Over time, I have discovered that my students learn better when they can use their bodies and minds.
Making learning fun is an exceptional concept that results in more information retained and memorable moments in a student’s journey.
Using my creativity to construct fun games with learning as the key motivator ignites my passion for teaching. It also lights a fire within my students to expand their knowledge while having fun. It also helps to incentivize this learning with snacks. Students want to do well in the games by showcasing their expertise, health, and competitiveness. Snacks are my biggest motivators for my students so that I would appreciate donations and materials for new game options.
My students are unique because they crave a deeper connection with becoming their teachers and the information I can share. Their passion inspires me to do the best job that I can. Growing with my students may be the most important thing I can do.
