My Project

This is my 18th year teaching at a Title I school. I love my students and want to see them succeed in school and in life.

This year I am teaching STEM to all students K-5 at our school, and I'm always looking for ways to keep our students motivated, especially our students in 3rd-5th grade.

I've noticed that many of our students like playing with sensory toys, and bouncing putty. They also like sports, and journaling. This is why I would like to have some of these items to use as rewards for a job well done.

We had a wonderful winter break as well as several snow days and 2 hour delays. Now we are getting to that time of year where we do not have anymore breaks until Spring Break, and we need to find ways to keep our students motivated. The sensory toys, journals, mini basketballs, and bouncing putty would do just that.
