This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Hello! I am an elementary teacher and love teaching my Pre-k CHAMPIONS! I love that they are always eager to learn and show their determination throughout the school days! They really impress me with their unique ideas, creativity and kindness!

Some of their outstanding qualities are being mindful, determined, and resilient as they overcome daily challenges.

In demonstrating such wonderful traits, they have truly won me and our campus over. These dynamic kids have taken every lesson to a higher level, time after time. They are always curious and make my teaching days so delightful.

My Project

My goal is to motivate my Pre-K students to make better choices every day! I know these incentives (smelly stickers, pencils, stress balls) would encourage our classroom community to keep a positive mindset! Students would be allowed to select a prize of their choice just for staying positive!

To make this project a reality, I am in need of rewards and incentives that are age appropriate- yummy snacks and smelly stickers will do the trick!

We currently use a class point system for great work habits, positive behavior and for outstanding citizenship! My students would be so excited if I am able to implement a reward system!
