This year I am thrilled to be teaching 25+ boisterous 5th graders. MLE is a school like no other. It thrives on a tradition to preserve it's "small town" feel. But as our student body grows, so are student's needs. Our students come from all walks of life, but all have the desire to succeed in the classroom.
As an educator, I strive to provide every available opportunity to my students- no matter their background.

My Project
Being confined to a small portable with 25 kids (several taller than myself), 25 desks, 25 backpacks, a large small group table, and flexible seating options, we need all the space we can get.
Any opportunity to maximize floor space is a must.
I am also requesting Jolly Ranchers and Dum Dums to use as incentives for students. These candies are small and mess free. Even more importantly, they are both peanut free, and made on dedicated equipment so they are safe for all students.
Another fun item on our request list is playground balls for four square and kickball.
In addition, I am requesting materials for our upcoming stem fair where we will be making a presenting a booth on greenhouses. Materials include seeds, special light bulbs, batteries, electrical tape, cups, poster boards, and more.
