Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It can be challenging to teach a class that is not motivated or has disruptive behavior, but positive incentives can create a motivating classroom environment. I feel students should be rewarded to continue their motivated effort. As a teacher, I try to encourage and give incentives for everything. I sometimes give wrist bands, Crayola packs and various awards. I often invest my own money because my students deserve it.

Positive incentives create a positive atmosphere in the classroom.

I am hoping by having a variety of classroom incentives, students will be excited to do their best to earn prizes and incentives. Hopefully, by having these incentives, my students will participate more and try to be more engaged in lessons.
