Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At our school, our students work hard every day to excel in their academic pursuits. However, many of our students face daily challenges that can make it difficult to stay focused and engaged throughout the day. Whether it’s the long stretch before lunch, hunger during after-school activities, or simply the need for a little boost, a healthy snack can provide the energy and motivation to power through.
This project will provide snacks as incentives to help motivate and support students in staying focused and doing their best in class.
Snacks are often a small but impactful reward for students who achieve milestones, complete their work, or show improvement in their studies. Providing these incentives will not only reward their efforts but also ensure that their basic needs are met, allowing them to be more present and engaged in their learning.
I am requesting help to supply our classroom with a variety of nutritious, energizing snacks like granola bars, crackers, chips, and trail mix. These snacks will be used as rewards for students who go above and beyond in their academic work, demonstrate leadership, or reach specific personal milestones.
Your donation will make it possible to provide healthy snacks for students to stay energized throughout the school day. The snacks will
reward hard work and commitment to their education, encouraging positive behavior and increased academic achievement. The snacks will ensure that students who may not have access to regular snacks at home are able to receive something healthy during the day.
