My Project
My school uses the PBIS program (Positive Behavior Incentive and Supports). This program is an evidence-based framework for supporting students in a myriad of ways – academic, behavioral, social, and emotional. The program strives to create a positive and safe learning environment for all. Positive behaviors are praised and students are rewarded. Student points are collected via the PBIS app, and then students can “spend” their points at the school store.
My students are beyond excited when they enter the school store and see all the great items, they can spend their points on.
I recently had a project funded which included writing tablets. My students loved the tablets so much that they were "purchased" very quickly. It would be great if we had more to add to the school store. Your support of this project ensures our school store stays stocked. Students are demonstrating positive, peaceful, and helpful behaviors, which in turn makes our school a wonderful place.
