My Project
I chose this project for my students as most lack motivation and high self esteem due to having severe emotional disorders caused by some type of trauma in their young lives.
These rewards can help my students feel a sense of accomplishment and boost their self-esteem, creating a more positive learning environment.
My students have a sticker chart on their desk, They can earn a sticker for each activity that they have completed as long as they were engaged and used appropriate social skills. For every 14 stickers my students earn a prize from the small prize box and then for 42 stickers they can earn from the bigger prize box.
We will use the laminating sheets to laminate their sticker charts, the containers will be used for the incentives, the stickers and Mochi Squishy toys will be added to the small prize box while the slime and building toys will be added to the big prize box. These incentives will be a huge hit in my classroom and will give my students something new to work towards.
