This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We recently participated in a college door decorating contest at my school. The students who participated worked so hard to research their colleges, hand draw logos, and display their research on their doors for everyone to see. We only had enough funding to award the top three classrooms. Moving forward, I would love to be able to give every student that gave up their time to participate a little something to honor their attempt.

It is so nice to have a little something to reward the students for going above and beyond and participating in activities that aren't required but that benefit the school.
