Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from low economic neighborhoods and many are English language learners. They work extremely hard every day in order to learn as much as they can. I want to be able to incentivize students with rewards for demonstrating growth in reading, math, and science.
Many of my students look for extrinsic motivation on top of the intrinsic motivation that they receive each and every day.
The tech supplies and snacks I am requesting will allow me to offer contests and challenges to help motivate students to continue learning and striving for success.
