My students need assorted resources for a sensory area in their new Autistic Support classroom. We hope you can help! We truly appreciate anything you can do for us! Thank so much!
We all have terrible, horrible, no good, very bad days, but sadly, my students have difficulty coping with their bad days. Please help provide them with the tools they need to cope when things don't go their way.
My students attend a public middle school in Pennsylvania.
My students have Autism, and most are included in the general education setting for all of their classes. Like their preteen and teenage peers, they endure a lot of stress and pressure during the school day, and often are unable to handle this stress. Their Autistic Support classroom is their safe place, but in order for their classroom to be a safe haven, we need a private and quiet sensory area in our classroom. We hope you can help us!
My Project
In order to make a peaceful and quiet sensory area for my students I need bean bag chairs of various sizes, balls on which they can bounce to release tension, various stress balls and sensory toys, and a small partition to create an area of peace and tranquility in our classroom.
My students with Autism need a safe place in their school where they can come to relax and decompress when life becomes too difficult for them.
This safe place is in their Autistic Support classroom, but we need your help to make this sensory corner a reality.
