In the Spirit to Cricut!

Help me give my students a Cricut, paper trimmer, mat, vinyl, and accessories! It will help turn their ideas into real-life products!

My Project

Hawaiian, Samoan, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, German... Hawaii is a melting pot filled with diverse cultures! The same goes for our classroom.

We are a melting pot of diverse cultures, personalities, learning styles, and interests!

COVID-19 has impacted my students' learning because they only attended school for a short two years before we went to distance learning. A lot of the work they did was on computers and were not able to do physical projects. Also, subjects like computer science was put on the back burner and students missed the opportunity to learn crucial skills for the future such as collaborating, problem-solving, perseverance, and having a growth mindset! In computer science, my students have learned how to use code to program a character. Using loops they are able to code a pattern into a digital sticker.

The Cricut, paper trimmer, mats, vinyl, and accessories would be great resources to have kids apply what they learned to create physical products that they will be proud of presenting to their friends, family, and community!
