My Project
The most challenging part of library time is book check out. What do the kids do while checkout is being done? I love to have crafts, games and activities set up for the students to work on that are fun and engaging but are still providing learning opportunities.
Being able to re-tell a story is part of the K-2 curriculum, and many of these activities will be supportive of that for my students.
The storyboards, puppets, and Pete the Cat games will be an excellent resource to promote this skill. The other supplies are wonderful STEAM activities, and STEAM is always something we strive to promote at our school.
