This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My amazing students are energetic and enthusiastic learners. They have a thirst for knowledge, which keeps me motivated every day. My students attend an inner-city school with a high poverty rate. They continue to attend class on time and stay motivated to learn.
My Project
I do not currently have the ability to print or copy materials in the classroom. The school day can be very hectic and fast paced. There are days when I forget or run out of time to make copies and having a printer will be so helpful. It’ll give students access to more resources to deepen their learning.
Having a printer and copier in the classroom will allow us to be flexible with our classroom activities.
A printer will allow us to take advantage of learning opportunities that come up during the school day. It will allow us to print out materials so that students are able to dig deeper into content areas that interest them. By having the printer in the class, students will have the ability to print out their work and proudly display them in the classroom.
