Help me give my students items we need to help with in person learning.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Duran's classroom raised $279

My Students
Our students and families are the heart of our school! It is an exceptional school with a diverse population both ethnically and socioeconomically. My classroom is a home away from home for my students and I know that some days they spend more time with me, than they do with their own families. I am dedicated to making sure they feel comfortable, relaxed, and ready to learn everyday! I want them to have the tools and resources they need to explore and create deeper understandings of the world around them. They grow so much in this first year of school, and my number one priority is helping them to love school, and giving them confidence as they start their educational journey!
My Project
As we transition back to in person learning, many things in the classroom will need to be modified to make sure we are staying socially distant and as healthy as possible.
The items in this project will help me change supplies normally used in a group capacity, to more individual use.
I will need name labels for the desks, and the velcro will be used to secure items to the table so they do not get mixed up with a neighbors supplies. The large felt board will help me utilize my felt story manipulatives in a whole group setting. I currently only have a small felt board that I use in small group, but I will not be able to meet with every student, everyday in small group the way I normally would. This board will help me to reach more students everyday and making reading come alive for them!
