My Project
The fifth grade students at my school apply at the beginning of every school year to assist with the school yearbook. The students that are chosen have many duties that they perform, including taking pictures for the yearbook.
The camera that we have for student-use needs a new lens.
The current lens does not zoom and was a donation. So, students have a hard time finding a great shot from long distances away. The new lens would give students more opportunities to learn a new skill and hopefully find a love of visual arts. Students also auction off one photo in the spring during our Arts Gala, which raises money for our Yearbook group.
