This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am teaching at a Title I School. My students are 4 years old. I am requesting four tricycles for our outdoor playtime. Unfortunately our outdoor equipment was stolen this weekend. They have limited play equipment. We managed to keep one tricycle.

Play is so important at their young age.

They learn from playing with one another. Sharing is important. It is difficult to do so when they have limited outdoor equipment. Tricycles will enhance their gross motor skills. Having tricycles will develop leg and core strength too. Four year-olds need stability, and tricycles help with balance. Please help our project get funded.
